Farmers Market News:

No need to go to the ATM the market accepts Credit and Debit cards.

Visit the market for great gifts for the holidays:

We have Carol Rowan’s Bags & More - You can’t miss her she has colorful handmade bags in over 75 different prints. There is a bag for every need and in many styles. There’s messenger bags, “U” shaped Jenny bags, over the shoulder, clutch, tote bags, drawstring backpacks, wallets and jewelry rolls. She also has bags for Gator and Seminole fans, and assorted patterns attractive to children. My favorite bag is Betty Boop on a motorcycle.

We are getting new vendors on a regular basis and of course there are our regular vendors with their fresh produce, plants, baked goods and unique handcrafted items.

In addition to our fresh produce we have candle makers, handcrafted jewelry, handcrafted leather goods, custom blend lotions and lighted yard art to name a few. You can’t miss Rosie grilling up her sausage sandwiches, just follow the scent, and Maurice with his freshly boiled peanuts. Now there is a new scent at the Farmers Market that draws you right in. It is the scent of fresh popped, freshly made kettle corn.

We will be closed Thanksgiving day so come to the market this Thursday to get your Thanksgiving dinner “fixins”. If you are looking for some delicious homemade bread and desserts stop by the Old Tyme Bakery and talk to John.

Starting this month there will be an “Art at the Market” show the third Thursday of each month. We have some very talented artist signed up for the event. If you are interested in participating please call Jane at 386-719-9270.

Please stop at the red booth if you need any information about the market or have any question regarding the market.

Many of our regular customers enjoy the social aspects of the market as well. So visit the market for our fresh produce, our great products, and to enjoy our pleasant and friendly vendors and volunteers.

May you all have a very pleasant and happy Thanksgiving.
